Abstract

This article explores the educational and methodological foundations for the effective organization of extracurricular activities in general secondary schools. It analyzes the principles of planning and conducting club activities, the organizational model, methodological approaches, as well as the system of assessment and monitoring, based on scientific and pedagogical literature and current regulatory documents. The study is conducted in the context of pressing issues in the education system of Uzbekistan, particularly the need to further develop students’ practical skills, cognitive, communicative, and socio-emotional competencies. The article develops scientific and methodological recommendations for organizing subject clubs on the basis of a competency-based, integrative project model.
