Abstract

This article analyzes the essence of the "Folk Pedagogy" discipline and its potential in developing national character traits in the younger generation. Folk pedagogy is interpreted as a system of knowledge based on centuries of educational experience and moral values. The study reveals its potential in forming character components such as patriotism, respect for elders, modesty, and collectivism. It argues that folk pedagogy is a crucial factor in fostering national identity and moral culture, emphasizing the need to integrate it with modern educational technologies and competence-based approaches.
