Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the family's role in the system of correctional and pedagogical assistance for children with multiple disabilities. It highlights the crucial impact of the family environment on the formation of the child's personality, analyzes the psychological challenges faced by parents, and outlines measures to transition them toward active cooperation. Drawing upon the historical experiences of L. Bridgman, H. Keller, and O. Skorokhodova, the study scientifically substantiates that comprehensive collaboration among the family, educators, and specialists is a key factor in preparing the child for an independent life.
