This study revisits the theoretical foundations of the sustainable development paradigm in agriculture and reveals its economic content through empirical evidence from Uzbekistan's agrarian sector. Based on an analysis of national statistical indicators for 2018–2023, the relationships between economic efficiency, social equity, and ecological sustainability are modelled. The dynamics of water resource use, the expansion of drip irrigation systems, and the growing share of agricultural exports reflect the initial outcomes of sustainable development policies. The article develops conceptual recommendations for improving the mechanisms of sustainable agricultural development.##plugins.themes.default.displayStats.downloads##
